Lyra took a break from messing with Guerra and looked at Cinderflame as he growled. Shukka really was pushing it. She nodded to him respectfully and tried her best at calming him. At first, she murred a barely audible tone.
"He's just impatient." She assured him, not really caring if Shukka heard her or otherwise. She piped up a tad.
"It's obvious that Cinderflame has the final word in this debate. Cinderflame?" She asked, eager to finish the plan before attacking.
Guerra really had no opinion, as long as he got his prisoners, he was fine. So he clawed up to Shukka's side. He outsized the cat, but not by much, but what Shukka lacked in size, he compensated for in sheer muscle and attitude. Guerra limped to his right and looked at the cat, meeting his eyes with vicious intencity.
You have a lot of nerve to be talking like that. Guerra rumbled, twitching his tail. He had no fear of this cat, though he probobly needed to. He didn't think Shukka would attack him, but if he did, he knew he had Lyra, and possibly his leader and Amurheart. He had his own pair of fangs, too, so he could definately hold his own, if need be. He was sure to remind Shukka of that in his eyes.

ooc - Ha ha. Who paged the idiot brigade. I crack myself up. xD -brick'd-
Shukka glanced back at the others to meet Guerra's deadly look. He returned the look with a glare that said Bring it on. I'll pound you into the sand. He ignored them until Guerra came up to walk by his side. He listened to Guerra's remark, and his ears flattened. You have a lot of nerve to be talking like that. A growl rumbled deep in Shukka's chest. "You think so?" He said, his voice quietly venemous. "Just a reminder, I could have been leader instead of Cinderflame, but I didn't want to. Don't underestimate me." His blood colored claws shot out and sank into the sand as he walked, and Shukka met Guerra's dangerous gaze without flinching. To sum it up, Shukka had no respect for older fighters.
ooc - And just to let you know, Shukka is massive. He's as big as any cat in the Kavari. xD And by the way, he's supposed to be the bane of his tribemates' existence. It's his goal in life. X3

Lyra had not caught anything of their conversation, luckily. She continued looking at her leader in anticipation.
Guerra no longer softened his growl. The fact that he was unafraid of him enraged him even more. He growled viciously at that little punk, but his wits were not affected.
"Just because you were too lazy and idiotic to lead a tribe gives you no right to challange me." he boomed, broken and tattered black claws tossing up sand at his belly.
In a way, Guerra loved his attitude and admired his bravery, even for a 'younger cat'. Guerras' issue is he thinks he's better than everyone else because he's old, though that only makes him more arrogent. Undoubtable he has expireance in fighting, but he is not the youngest or lithest, and he can't move or think as fast as he was before, but he is still a force to be reconed with.

Cinderflame's fur bristled as he noted the hostility in Shukka's voice. Who does he think he is?! Stalking forwards, the Kavari angrily pushed between Shukka and Guerra. "All right, that's enough," he spat, eyes narrowed. "How will we ever defeat the wolves if you keep squabbling like hyenas fighting over a pice of prey?" Not waiting for their answer, he looked away, disgusted. Raising his voice, Cinderflame added, "I have decided that although imprisoning the wolves in the canyon is a viable course of action, we shall break their legs and keep them prisoner instead. After all, we want our revenge on the wolves, don't we? They must suffer!"

Amurheart let out a low, barely audible growl of agreement after his leader finished speaking. He visualized the wolf that slaughtered his sister. They will suffer, he thought maliciously.
Shade listened to what Cinderflame had to say. He nodded, but said nothing. He made no sound at all. The trainee was willing to do whatever it took to make those wolves pay for what they did, so long ago.... He could have been born in the forest, he could have been raised in the shade of the trees with soft ground underpaw. But, because of those wolves, he was born in the desert, and raised with no shade and hot sand and rock underpaw. It wasn't fair. We should drive them all into the desert, like they did to us, he thought.

Shukka snorted at CInderflame and Guerra, and his jaws gaped in a yawn or total disrespect. He looked away to the forest ahead, not at all bothered by the others' words. They don't scare me. He thought nonchalantly. He flicked his ears when he heard Cinderflame and he snorted inwardly. Whatever. He thought. I'm gonna do whatever I want, which means I'm going after the wolves to kill, not to imprison.
Sorrelkill felt the fur on his shoulder's bristle when he saw the exchange between SHukka and Guerra. he was relieved when Cinderflame broke up the fight. Now is a time for teamwork, not for in tribe rivalries. he thought.

A low growl rumbled like thunder from Cinderflame's maw as he saw Shukka's show of disrespect. Half of him wanted to claw some respect into the surly Fighter, but the other half knew that now would be the absolute worst time for divisiveness. If we start arguing with each other during the attacks, the wolves will make carrion of us all. He turned away from Shukka, trying to block him out of his mind. Did a tiny part of his decision not to confront Shukka stem from a slight... fear... of the gigantic Kavari? As much as he didn't want to admit it; yes, it did.

Leafstripe never took sight off the sand as she sprinted to the bundle of large cats. They were quite far away and she was going unintentionally slow. The herbs in her mouth dangled lifelessly as she quietly approched the large mass of cats and walking up to her leader, Cinderflame. "Sorry I'm so late. I got caught up in the herbs." she apologized calmly.

Amurheart quickly side-stepped as the healer came up between him and Cinderflame. He felt a slight irritation toward her, but he didn't express it, and he soon forgot it. The massive cat's light blue eyes scanned the edge of the forest. He had further to go than the others.... He figured he should start off soon. He glanced at Cinderflame. He had to tell the leader his plan before he left. He looked over at Leafstripe, wishing she would move out of the way so that he could tell Cinderflame what he was doing before running off with his nephew.

Nodding, Lyra accepted her leaders' plan. Thinking about it, it owuld break the wolves quicker. They would try to escape the canyon without thinking, but if they can't even move, they will accept that finally, they were beaten.
Lyra rolled her eyes quickly at Leafstripe, her feisty nature emerging quietly. She had always thought Leafstripe a ditzy little cat, though gave her the same amount of respect she gave most. She looked to Guerra, who too seemed un-impressed by her rudeness.
Lyra admired Amurheart for his calm nature, and overall was the type of cat the Kavari needed. For a moment, she imagined the tribe with Amurheart for a leader, but shook it out of her mind. Cinderflame was doing just fine. She kept quiet as she saw her old home, smiling as its scent re-opened many shut-out memories.
Smiling, forgetting his anger at Shukka, he slowed his pace to join his mate's side once more, happy that Cinderflame decided to make them suffer in the sun with the pain of broken legs. He heard pawsteps behind the quad and looked back to see Leafstripe zooming toward them, some limp plants dangling in her mouth.
For a moment, he questioned her actions. They needed desert plants why? Surely the forest was abundant in better plants than the tiny ones growing in the oasis. She shook his head lightly, accepting that she might know what she was doing, though it wasn't likely.
'Pfft.' he mumbled audibly as the healer nearly pushed Amurheart over. Lucky he was keen enough to move before she rushed in.

'Pfft.'
Leafstripe shot a hard look at Guerra. "I heard that." she hissed through the herbs. She was not in the mood to hear some elderly fighter comment her hasty appearance. She softened her gaze and looked up toward Amurheart. "Sorry Amurheart." She apologized, stepping back to let the male have his place back. The herbs dripped with water. She had found them in the forest and dew still clung to their leaves.
Sitting down, Leafstripe waited patiently for any sign of movement of the mass of cats.

Shukka halted when the others did at the edge of the forest. He flicked his ears in impatience as he waited for any orders Cinderflame wanted to give. His paws itched to run into the forest and kick some wolf butt, but he stayed where he was.
Sorrelkill stumbled up to the others, his paws tired and hot. He sat down under the shade of a tree, marveling that anything could be so green. Grumbling slightly, he settled down with his head on his paws. At least he could get a bit of rest while the others decided what was going to happen next.

Amurheart nodded to Leafstripe, acknowledging that he heard and accepted her apology. He took his place back, and looked at Cinderflame.
"Cinderflame, I'm looking for a certain wolf -- the one that killed my sister. It was one of those ones with the blue lighting bolt under their eyes. I was thinking that maybe I could go down to the south, below the packs' territories, and make my way up from there. I'll try to push around some loners while I'm down there, and maybe I can find out where that wolf is," he said quietly, so that only the leader could hear. "And maybe I could take Shade with me?"

OoC;; When did Leafy go to the forest?
Lyra was impressed by Leafstripe's attack at Guerra, but she knew he would come back with something. She urged him mentally not to, but it was no use; Guerra was not a cat to be reasoned with.
"I heard that." Guerra let it register for a moment before comeing up with something.
"I'm glad you could! If you couldn't, we would all surely be worried!" she spat sarcastically. His memory shot back to the old medicine cat he had known as a trainee. She was quite old for any standards, but was wise and respectful. She would not kick back with an insult, but ignore it kindly. Eh, they can't all be good.

OoC;; She did before she came here. I just didn't feel like roleplaying it. That's why she was late.
"I'm glad you could! If you couldn't, we would all surely be worried!"
Leafstripe dropped the herbs at her paws and scornfully looked at Guerra once again. "I don't want to bicker with some old cat that can be so disrespectful to try and be a smartmouth to get the last word in." She hissed, looking away toward Cinderflame.[/size]
