Cinderflame stalked through the camp, his tail flicking idly through the sand. With a ripple of black fur, he sprang up onto the rock in the center of the camp, wincing as the hot stone scorched his paws. The leader threw back his head and let out a yowl, calling the Kavari to gather for a meeting. His bicolored eyes narrowed as he watched the camp. I wonder if they have any idea od what's to come?

Sorrelkill scrambled to his paws and tumbled out of his den where he had previously been sleeping. Blinking the tiredness from his eyes, he trotted to the greatrock and sat, wondering what his leader would announce.

ooc- *pokes other Kavari*
Cinderflame nodded approvingly as Sorrelkill sat at the base of the Greatrock. He remembered how much promise the Trainee had shown during that training session...

ooc- *sighs* Okay, I'll pretend they're here.
Cinderflame's long claws scraped across the rock as he gazed down from his perch atop the Greatrock. The feel of their sharpness reassured him, and he growled softly, imagining them sinking into a wolf's pelt. That picture gave him the strength to say what came next. "Kavari!" he called, voice roaring like the desert winds. "Long ago, the wolves drove us out of the forests. We scrape out a half-life in the desert, barely enough to survive. "Now we take our revenge!"

Sorrelkill felt a fierce excitement course through his body, along with a horrible anger and want to kill. He snarled and roared back to CInderflame in a greement. His eyes smoldered with hate for the wolves that killed his parents. I swear, I will avenge ther deaths. He vowed to himself. He dug his claws into the soft sand.

Morningsong swiftly took a spot not too far from Sorrelkill. Her auds perked high on her dial, listening to Cinderflame. An evil smirk curled onto her lips at the thought of revenge. Her parents had both died because of the battle and she knew Sorrelkill's parents also passed on during the war. A violent fire seemed to burn within in her. It yearned for wolf blood to be spilled. It yearned for a battle. She yowled out in agreement. It was their time for revenge.

A massive black shadow seemed to have detatched itself from the edge of the clearing to come and stand by the base of the highrock. Blood red claws scraped through the soft sand, and a short red and black tail flicked idly. Shukka looked up at his leader as he heard the announcement. Suddenly a blazing fire flared in his red orange eyes and a fierce excitement took hold of the gigantic kavari. Leaping to his paws, Shukka threw back his head, opened his maw, and roared, the sound echoing off of the dunes. A wicked smile of plesure deformed his face as thoughts of triumph took hold of him. Finally. He purred to himself. A chance for revenge!
ooc - I love Shukka. XD

A large cat had been sitting apart from the group, although his red-tinged ears were pricked as he listened to his leader's voice, speaking words that made his muscles tense and his fangs clench. He fought to conceal the immense, cruel joy that made him want to throw back his head and roar like Shukka. He stared at his leader, his face and pale blue optics expressionless. However, despite all his efforts to conceal his emotions, a low, barely audible growl sounded, and the Maotu flexed his claws, scraping them against the parched earth. Sunspot, He thought, as if speaking to his deceased sister, vengeance is near. She had been so pretty. Her pelt was golden with jet-black leopard-like spots. She was lithe and slender, and very swift. Her face was like that of a leopard, with the saber fangs common to all Maotu cats. Amurheart recalled the immense pain that had overcome him when he saw her beautiful pelt, shredded and scarred, her striking face, marred and bloody. Perhaps worst of all was when his gaze met hers -- her once enchanting golden optics stared up at him, glazed over and lifeless. How he had maintained his composure was still a mystery to Amurheart. However, it was then, while he stared at her disfigured body, that he swore to rake his claws and sink his teeth into the foul wolves that destroyed his beloved sister. He would soon get that chance.

A savage grin broke across Cinderflame's face as he stared down at his tribe. They drove us here to destroy us, but we have become strong again. He bared long fangs that glinted like ivory in the harsh desert sunlight. Fools. The Kavari's thin tail flicked back and forth like a whip. "I swear to you, we shall make the wolves pay for what they've done to us! How many of you have lost family, lost friends, to their teeth? We'll give them a taste of their own medicine!" His bicolored eyes were slits, filled with flame.

Morningsong pounded her paw against the soft sand. The wolves had to pay for all the misery they had caused her. She had lost her parents, the only family she had. A growl resembled from her throat as Cinderflame continued. Her paws trembled anxiously awaiting to get her claws into a wolf. They deserved what was coming to them.

Darkrose arrived rather late to the gathering but she made it all the same. She swiftly took a place beside Morningsong glancing at the older she-cat before looking up to Cinderflame. From what she had heard so far, it was obvious that another war with the wolves was about to happen. She didn't really have any problems with the wolves except for the fact that her mother abandoned the Kavari because of the war they started. Her mother had slowly died trying to keep Darkrose safe only in turn to beg the Kavari to take her in. 'My mother left me and never stayed to watch me improve and grow. She abandoned me because of the danger they caused.' Her entire body began to quiver with excitement.

Shade sat several tail-lengths away from Amurheart. His uncle didn't pay the trainee any mind as they listened to Cinderflame's announcement. The young male's golden eyes glittered as he heard that his fallen Tribemates would be avenged. He thought of his mother, and was surprised to hear the low growl that sounded from Amurheart's throat. He barely caught the sound. He knew that his uncle was anticipating the chance to sink his claws and fangs into the pelts and throats of the wolves that had killed his mother, Amurheart's sister. Shade's thoughts were sad as he remembered his mother. She had always been forgiving, and proud to serve her Tribe. She had always said that she would give her life to protect her family and her Tribe. He sighed. Unfortunately, she had. But, although he would not fight specifically to avenge her, she would be avenged. She had always said that when you die for your Tribe, you need not be avenged. Shade disagreed, and although his intentions were not directly to avenge the death of his mother, he knew that it would be. He flicked his tail. He would personally love to tear a few wolves to shreds. It would be his first real battle. He glanced over at Amurheart. His kin's face was emotionless, but he could tell that Amurheart couldn't wait for the chance to taste wolf blood. Shade almost felt the same way.

((I'll post again.........Raze hasn't been on and I think Cinder might be waiting for Raze. ))
Morningsong peered around the clearing at everyone that had gathered around. Most of them had lost a loved one during the war so they all probably wanted bloodshed just as much as herself. This time, we will not be defeated! She declared in her mind. "What's the plan?" She called out to Cinderflame.
~---------------------------------------------------------~
Darkrose spotted Amurheart and Shade out of the corner of her orbs. Neither of them looked as hyped as everyone else about the war to come. They looked quite dull and emotionless. She could see a slight sparkle in Shade's eyes but otherwise he was merely lost in thought. Perhaps he was thinking of his parents? She wasn't sure and wasn't planning on asking. Her attention then turned back to Cinderflame. What was the plan? Or did he even have one? It seemed Morningsong had read her mind because she called out, 'What's the plan?'

||Yeah, I guess that makes sense.||
Amurheart pricked his ears as Morningsong spoke. He awaited an answer anxiously. How exactly were they going to do this? He was dying to know. He was anticipating the chance to shed wolf blood, and he wanted to know how he was expected to do it.
Shade noticed Darkrose looking over at him out of the corner of her eye. He wondered what she was thinking. He had noticed that she had begun to quiver with excitement a few moments earlier. He remembered that the female's mother had left the Tribe to protect Darkrose from the wolves. She must have been thinking of her mother, just as he was thinking of his. He twitched his whiskers thoughtfully, noticing this similarity between the two.

Sorrelkill's head whipped around to stare at Cinderflame as he waited for his answer. Thoughts were still crashing around in his brain as he stood there, shaking. Mother... Father... REVENGE... he thought over and over as a snarl disformed his maw.
Shukka's eyes locked onto Cinderflame as he waited with baited breath for his answer. He was suprised his leader's pelt didn't catch fire with the intensity of his flame-colored gaze. Whatever happens, I am GOING to kill wolves. He though wickedly. His blood colored claws shot out and dug into to sand as he blissfully imagined ripping apart a wolf.
