ooc- I don't really know...
Cinderflame kneaded the sand with his powerful paws, impatient to get moving. "I think we'll start with the random attacks, yes." he meowed, bicolored eyes glittering sinisterly. "That will cause a lot of confusion among the wolves, and soften them up enough so that we can launch one huge strike to totally sweep them away." He paused, tail flickering back and forth, as something occurred to him. "Perhaps we could even make it look like one of the wolf groups" -what were they called, packs?- "attacked the other. If they start fighting themselves as well as us, their defeat will come even sooner." A growling purr rumbled in his throat at the thought.

Amurheart narrowed his gaze. He liked his leader's plan. "Yes, turn them against each other...." he said quietly. "How do you think we should do it? What can we do to make them think the other... pack, right? the other pack is attacking them?" he asked. "Won't some of them recognize our scent?"

Aerianna nodded in agreement to her leaders plans. The Deputy was still panicky from the last battle but her heart was full in rage and revenge.

Shukka was padding a little ways ahead of his Cinderflame and Amurheart, but he could still hear their conversation. he flicked his ears when he heard what CInderflame said. Maybe. He thought as he padded on, paws making no sound on the sand. But I want to attack now. I've done the ambushes before. I'm tired of hitting and running like a coward. I want to FIGHT. He snarled as he thought the last word, his blood red claws extending and sinking into the sand.
Sorrelkill scampered after Shade. He caught up to him and slowed to match his pace. He flicked his tail in greeting as Darkrose bounded over. He didn't say anything, he just paced on, eyes riveted on the horizon, where he knew the forest, and the wolves, lie in wait for them.

Shade noticed Sorrelkill catch up with him. He felt a bit bad for leaving without the other Trainee. He said nothing, however, as it wasn't like him to start conversations. If Sorrelkill or Darkrose wanted to talk, though, he would. He noticed Amurheart talking to Cinderflame ahead of him. He wasn't at all close to his uncle; in fact, the two rarely interacted. Regardless of their lack of interaction, though, Shade knew him well. They were quite alike, actually. It was unlike Amurheart to talk to others. He usually ignored everyone else, for the most part. I guess he wouldn't be like that to the leader, though, Shade thought. He's antisocial, not stupid.

"Won't some of them catch our scent?"
Cinderflame cursed silently; he hadn't thought of that "Yes, I suppose you're right," he meowed distractedly. "I suppose... we could disguise our scent. Roll in thick mud, or even in rotting prey..." The leader winced slightly as the words left his mouth. He had spent almost half his lifetime in the desert, and the thought of squishy, wet, icky mud covering his fur made him shiver....

Amurheart nodded. "I'll do whatever I must to make sure the taste of wolf blood reaches my tongue," he whispered, his voice barely audible. He pictured his sister's body, marred, torn, and bloody... lifeless. A quiet but furious growl sounded from the depths of the large cat's throat. It felt as if a fierce fire was blazing inside him. He would do everything possible to avenge his sister's death....

Shukka's eyes narrowed as he thought of what Cinderflame and Amurheart were muttering behind him. He snorted to himself. Right... he thought sarcastically, which suprised him because he was NEVER sarcastic, I'll coat myself with mud before I ambush a pack of wolves. That'll make us look terrifying.... He rolled his eyes and kept pacing, feeling the hot sun beat down on his broad shoulders.
Sorrelkill flicked his ears forward to hear what Amurheart and his leader were talking about. He wrinkled his nose. Mud? He thought, disgusted, Or rotting prey? ..... Well, I guess whatever it takes... He shook his head and kept walking.

The sun was still high in the sky, and the burning sands of the desert grew even hotter. The dark-pelted Kavari leader shrugged his shoulder uncomfrtably in the blazing heat. How nice it will be to live under trees again, he mused.
"I'll do whatever I must to make sure the taste of wolf blood reaches my tongue."
Cinderflame nodded to Amurheart, glad that he was enthusiastic. "Perhaps we could have one raiding party attack the wolves directly, and the other disguise themselves and take prey from the territories..."

Amurheart nodded. "I'd like to see them all dead, but there's one in particular I have to find...." he said quietly. He grew quite uncomfortable in the scorching sunlight, as his thick coat held the heat in. He was eager to be away from the desert. He had only been in the forest during the last war. Amurheart had been born in the desert. However, he'd felt the soft, damp ground under his paws, and the shade that the trees cast over it. He was determined to win that back for the Tribe, almost as determined as he was to avenge his sister.

The huge Maotu cat nodded, knowing exactly what Amurheart mean. He sank his claws into the sand, growling deep in his throat, as he pictured the red wolf, the one who had had ruined the Kavari last time. That wolf better be watching out constantly, because if I find him, he'll be carrion! Cinderflame's eyes were slits, full of rage burning hot enough to rival the sun. We must have revenge!

-Pretend Lyra and Guerra were there the whole time. - Lyra had never been one to disobey, but the fact that the leader was making some rather sketchy calls were frightening her, just a bit. As she stalked along, her claws outreached in the sand as she thought of how to approach her leader.
Well, the fact that they had no way of action, no order or sceme was the first order of business. The next the fact that they wanted to do the random attacks once more was another.
She got up the courage to approach the young cat, and went to the side Amurheart was not at. In an old, weathered voice, she questioned him.
"Cinderfame, I think you need to think over the plan a bit more. There is no order! Last time, we did the same, and we were defeated. You seem to be putting these wolves down, but the fact is, they beat us last time because we were a mess. They are a force to be reconed with, and ask Guerra if you think I'm wrong." She began, flicking her tail at her battlescarred mate who was near the back behind Shade and the trainees.
"I know I'm just an old cat, but honestly, this plan is shakey. We should form ranks and keep the stronger with the weaker. We should have groups assigned to special areas around the camp. I think the random attacking is another downfall. If we give them reason to be scared, they'll be careful and prepaired." She continued, noticing her mate approach on a limp.As the hugfe mauto clawed around the trainees, he looked to Shade. Shade was his pride-and-joy, though he usually didn't show it. He looked a lot like his father, Obsidian. Oh, Obsidian. On the inside, Guerra really is a compassionate cat. Nothing scarred him more than the loss of his son. Shade and Lyra are all he reallt has left for him.
Nodding to his grandson proudly, he continued to walk before him, limping a tad, to join Lyra, who seemed to be chatting with their leader. The approached her side and nuzzled her neck lightly, as she was still talking as he did.
He was unaware of all the flaws in the plan. Honestly, he couldn't wait to tear it up, but Lyra did seem a little edgy about it. Silently, he carried on by her side.((Double first appearance, yay!))

Shukka pricked his ears and slowed up a bit when he heard Lyra talking to Cinderflame. He listened as she told him that his plan was shaky, and that he should think it over better. Brave move. SHukka growled to himself. He switched his ears backwards, waiting to catch Cinderflame's answer.
Sorrelkill shied off a bit when Guerra passed them. He had always been mildly frightened by the old cat, just as he had always been scared of Shukka. But as Guerra passed, he noticed that he gave Shade a nod. He most be proud of his grandson. Sorrelkill thought.

Cinderflame lashed his tail, annoyed at the challenge, but also glad that the Kavari had the courage to speak out. "I see what you mean, Lyra," he said, turning his bicolored stare towards the older cat. "But this time we have surprise on our side. The wolves won't be expecting us to attack them. Once we've softened them up with a raid or two, then we will attack them in a more orderly way. Does that make sense?" He hoped it did. It makes sense to me, but what will the others think?

Lyra nodded acceptantly (word?) and looked to Guerra. She expected him to give his opinions, but he probobly wouldn't.
"I see what you mean, Lyra," he said, turning his bicolored stare towards the older cat. "But this time we have surprise on our side. The wolves won't be expecting us to attack them. Once we've softened them up with a raid or two, then we will attack them in a more orderly way. Does that make sense?"
Lyra did see the sence in it. They could get the stronger ones dead and out of the way, and in their panic, strike the killing blow. Okay.
Lyra was still waling by him when her mate called out.
Guerra hadn't been really listening to either of the cats at his side, but he asked his leader either way.
Being war-bound, ofcorse he would want to kill, the better than death...
"Prisoners." he said bluntly, not questioninly, but just out of the blue. He followed it up in his husky voice. "If they know we have their precious leaders, or even loved ones, not dead, but being help captive, they'll crumble. We could torture them..." he said, very audasic and strong in his ideas.
