ooc - Yep. :3 I guess this can be the start of the re-attacking.
Rei howled in pain as she felt sharp claws ripping at her fur. She managed to throw the Kavari off and she scrambled ot her paws, panting. She growled deep in her throat as her red eyes flared, giving her the appearence of a demon wolf. "Get out of our lands!" She spat. The Kavari grinned at her, blood dripping from his claws and fangs. "This will only be your territory for a little while longer, wolf!" The Kavari crouched and started to circle, eyes flicking from Rei to Larka.
ooc - If you want, you can bring Rain in. :3

Larka froze with horror as she saw the Kavari. A Kavari! They're real! It seemed just as vicious as the ones from the tales of the Great War. The Trainee couldn't move. She could only stare, wide-eyed, as the cat circled.
Rain had been watching the entire scene from the bushes. He didn't usually venture this deep into the packs' territories, but tonight had seemed different. It was almost as if something was drawing him here... The loner had eagerly stalked towards the deer herd, but had hidden as the two wolves had appeared. He had watched them with interest. One had golden fur, that in daylight would shine as brightly as the sun, but it was dull and muddy due to the lack of light. The other's silver pelt shone like the moon. Rain watched Rei's movements in awe, marveling at how easily she overpowered the deer. His delight turned to horror as a Kavari leaped from the bushes and attacked them. The grey wolf took a step forwards, eager to help, and then stopped dead. I can't let them see me!

The Kavari, who hadn't noticed Rain in the bushes, kept circling the wolves. Thinking that the young one wouldn't be much trouble, he went for Rei instead. Caterwauling furiously, he charged at her, forcing her to retreat.
Rei gritted her teeth to keep from howling in shock. Leaping backwards into the bushes, she tumbled smack into Rain. "What?" she yelped, her red eyes wide in suprise, before the kavari was on her, snapping at her throat.

"No!" Rain howled as the Kavari leaped at the beautiful wolf. He lunged towards the big cat, trying to sink his teeth into its shoulder. All his qualms about the packs vanished in the heat of battle. The loner growled furiously at the Kavari. "I've killed you kind before, and I can do it again!"
Larka recovered from her shock and leaped forwards, trying to help Rei. She snapped viciously at its tail, trying to hide her fear.

Rei rolled onto her paws while Rain attacked the Kavari. Whirling around, her eyes widened as she watched the loner bravely defending her from the giant cat. SHe snapped out of her trance and quickly launched herself at the Kavari's neck.
The Kavari yowled in suprise as a third wolf burst forth to attack him furiously. At the same time, he felt sharp teeth sinking into his tail. Lashing out with his back paw, he snarled angrily and tried to swat the two older wolves away.

Rain barely ducked under the Kavari's murderous paw, and winced as he felt the tip of a claw graze his ear. You'll pay for that! He leaped forwards again, biting savagely at the Kavari's shoulder. Warm blood flowed around his muzzle, and the loner let out a growl of triumph.
Larka hung on doggedly to the Kavari's tail, trying to keep out of the way of its flailing paws. She bit down harder and dug her paws into the ground, trying to keep it away from Rei.

Rei snarled and leaped high, flipping to land on the Kavari's back. Letting out a howl, she sank her teeth into the cats scruff, trying to reach it's spine. But it's fur was too thick...
The Kavari screamed in pain and rage as he felt sharp wolf teeth sinking deep into his neck. Panting with rage, it reached one gigantic paw behind and and grabed Rei's shoulder, ripping the she-wolf off and tearing the wolf's shoulder at the same time.
Rei felt a searing agony in her shoulder, and the next thing she knew, she was hurled against the trunk of a tree. She collided with a thud and sank to the ground, dazed. After a moment she staggered to her paws, blood flowing freely from her shoulder and her head spinning.

'No!" Rain gasped as the beautiful wolf reeled away, bleeding. Filled with rage, he leaped at the Kavari, snarling. "I'll tear your throat out!" he lashed out with his blunt claws, intending to do just that.
Larka growled with astonishment as the strange wolf started attacking the Kavari. Who's he? I've never seen him before... Shrugging it off, she leaped back at the large cat. "Go back to the desert!"

The Kavari's growl of anger turned into a high pitched screech of pain as he felt claws and teeth ripping at his throat. Retreating quickly, it charged off into the woods, tail low and ears back. He was defeated.
Rei's head throbbed as she crouched and stalked towards the Kavai. But she was too late. It had already ran. Whining softly in pain, she stumbled forward to the loner and Larka. "Thank you." She whispered to Rain as she stood beside Larka. "We couldn't have beat him without you." SHe ignored the blood clotting her shoulder fur as she watched the loner.

Rain nodded slowly, slightly awestruck by the fact that this beautiful wolf was actually talking to him. 'Um... You're welcome..." He dropped his gaze immediately, and began studying his paws.
Larka winced as she walked over to stand beside Rei. Three long grooves stretched their way down her left shoulder, and she could barely put weight on that paw."Are you okay?" she asked Rei, ignroing Rain for the moment.

Rei averted her eyes from the brave loner. "I'm fine." She murmured. Her bleeding had almost stopped. "Why don't you go back to camp and get your injuries looked after? I'll be along in a while to explain what happened to Raze. And you did really well by the way. I'll make sure Raze knows." She smiled tentatively and shifted from paw to paw. Truth was, she was more intirested in talking to the loner who had saved her life. She was strangely fascinated with him. She looked back towards him, her crimson eyes curious.

Larka nodded, glowing slightly from the praise. 'Thanks!" she said, and then hurried away. The pain in her leg was feeling better already. Rei thinks I did well! YES!!!! She whisked her tail happily, and trotted back towards the camp.
Rain watched as the young Trainee- Is that what they were called? He wasn't really sure- trotted away. He glanced once at Rei, but quickly looked away again. Who am I kidding? She'll probably just tell me to get off Kanaran territroy. But he couldn't suppress the hope, however faint, that she might want to talk to him...

One of Rei's ears twisted nervously and she felt a little more... exposed... now that Larka had left. SHe suddenly wondered why the heck she was doing this. Then she looked back at him, and she calmed herself. She did really want to talk to him. "That was very brave of you, risking your life for a wolf you don't even know." SHe said lightly, a half-smile working it's way onto her face. Her ears pricked forward and she continued. "Why did you? You have no reason to care about us pack wolves..."

"That was very brave of you, risking your life for a wolf you don't even know. Why did you? You have no reason to care about us pack wolves..."
Rain blushed under his fur and looked down. "Well... I guess I don't, really, but I can't ignore a wolf in trouble..." He fixed his gaze firmly on a large tuft of grass, unable to meet Rei's eyes. He hoped the explanation didn't sound too stupid... But i can't tell her the truth, can I?

Rei's ears twitched in amusement at his bashfulness. "True." She answered. She tilted her head to the side and watched him, a small smile on her face. The moon shone lightly off of his pelt, and the way he stood there he looked rather stunning... Woah. Rei blinked. Not supposed to happen. Clearing her head, she asked "Is that it, though? It seems you're not telling the whole truth..."
