Cinderflame stood at the top of the cliff, gazing down into the Senya camp with eyes so cold and hard that they resembled flecks of diamond. His shoulder still ached from that red wolf's bite, and he shifted his weight slightly, wincing. His dark-patterned pelt blended in well with the cloudy night sky. The Maotu cast a quick glance back over his shoulder, looking for the other Kavari that had followed him on this expedition. He gestured with his tail, indicating that they should move a little closer.
Cody bounced nervously from paw to paw, every muscle tense with energy. He had never seen a forest before, and the tress were even bigger than he had imagined--their tallness only enhanced by the creepy effect they had given as he had snuck through them at night. He wanted to purr with joy. This was the best game ever!

Shukka lay under the cover of the bushes near the edge of the raiding group, perfectly at ease. Yawning widely, his brutal, six-inch long teeth gleamed pale in the moonlight. The sky was dark and heavy with clouds, obscuring most of the pale glow of the moon. Hauling himself to his paws with a grunt, he paced over to a nearby tree. Crouching back on his hind legs, he reached up, latched his long bloodred claws into the bark, and started sharpening his claws. Pushing away from the tree, he landed heavily on all fours. With a bored sigh, he stalked over to join the rest of the group. As he neared, he saw Cody, one of the youngest Maotu, bouncing nervously on his paws. Shukka, as a trained war vertran, couldn't have been more at ease. Flicking his ears in amusement, he turned towards Cinderflame. He had just parted his jaws to ask when they would start moving when the Leader flicked his tail as a signal to advance. Growling almost hungrily, Shukka slunk forward, falling swiftly into a hunting crouch. He advanced fearlessly towards the head of the group, his flame-colored eyes seeming to glow in the half-light. It's showtime.
Sorrelkill was much more at ease this time around, already having taken part in the raid against the Kanaran Pack. Sitting a little ways behind Cinderflame, he watched the Leader with his ears pricked. He kneaded the ground with his claws, itching to leap down into the Senya camp and attack some wolves. He leaped to his paws as soon as Cinderflame gave the signal to attack. Slinking forward, he fell in behind Shukka, his jaws parted halfway to catch the scents on the breeze. HIs tail lashed behind him; now was the time to extract his revenge for his dead parents on the wolves.
Ooc;; Ooh, oh! I just had an idea! Why don't one or two of the wolves from the Kanaran camp come bursting into camp to warn the Senya just before the Kavari attack? Like Flaer and Aero or something?
