Lucie sighed, she failed at socializing. All her life she kept to herself and now it was nipping her in the butt. Maybe living alone for the rest of her life wasn't so bad?
No it was...
"Sorry.." She mumbled.

Zephos heard her sigh. It wasn't that hew didn't like her, but for someone so quiet, she looked into things much more than needed and was a little obnoxious. He sighed and looked back at her, an apologetic smile on his face. "I'm sorry."

Lucie looked at Zephos apologetic smile. She werily smiled back.
"I'm sorry."
"There's nothing for you to be sorry about. I'm the one whose getting annoying." She stood up and looked at her paws, then sat down, which was pointless, but she was nervous.

Zephos noticed her being fidgity. He laughed at turned around swiftly, twisting his tail to becon her with him. He walked lightly to the other side of the plateau, toward the desert. He could barly see it over the trees, but he saw the yellow lands of the desert, the dwelling of the cats. He growled involentarally, feeling the pain of his shoulder.
He sighed, remembering the duties he needed to fill. Lucie and he would be the plateau watchers.

Lucie smiled and calmed down, not sure if he was laughing for a good reason, but she dicided not to think about that. She watched him beckon her with his tail and she followed him as he walked to the other end of the plateau. She strolled next to him and sat down, feeling confident who whatever reason.

He sighed.
"Are you scared?" he asked bluntly.

"Are you scared?"
Lucie looked at Zephos. She kew he was nervous of what was going to happen with his pack, and frankly, she was too. She didn't want to die, or risk dying, but she was loyal to the Senya, and Zephos...
"Of the war that is approaching? Sure, I'm scared, but I'm also confident." Lucie smiled.

Zephos nodded. He liked her honesty.
"Me too." he replyed flatly. He knew she wouldn't - couldn't - understand how he felt. An unassuming, shy female? They wouldn't think anything about it. But him, a leader? They would have it out for him in any way possible.

"Me too."
Lucie held her smile. "Look, were all going to go out there and fight our hardest. I know I will. I'll do whatever it takes to keep Senya alive. Anything." She knew he must be feeling horrible. Some wolves may not survive, but they would die with pride, knowing they fought their heart out.

Zephos smiled, his mind far away. "Speaking of keeping the Senya alive," he began, turning around toward the steep slope. "I'm hungry!" He said as he stood at the edge, where the slope began, waiting for her to catch up.

["I'm hungry!" Lucie watched as Zephos made for where the slope was, so he could walk down. She shook her head and smiled. He was very straight forward with things. She began to jog toward him and stopped where he stood.

{{AT CAMP}} Zephos climbed down the slope with Lucie. He was hungry and to tell the truth, Lucie wouldn't have been his first choice, but he wasn't going to just ditch her. He had to set a social example too. That's why he tried to spend a little time with everyone, incliding Cora. Thinking about her, he looked around camp as he came down the slope. She wasn't hard to miss, usually. She wasn't there, though. Probably hiding away somewhere. He thought nothing of it and took a seat. He was sticking to his rule of three fighters outside of camp at once, and he didn't favor the idea of being alone with Lucie again. Looking around, anyone would do. He caught a glimpse of Trinity. She was indeed getting plumper - he could tell. But she was always very respectable of rules, though she wasn't the kindest wolf. He worried about it. As much as he would hate to, he would have to kick her out if it was what it looked like. Zephos knew what a pregnant femme looked like as she got bigger as opposed to gaining weight. If a wolf was just getting more weight, they would fill out everywhere. But a pregnant wolf would round in the stomach area, as Trinity was. Troubling. {{Okay, go ahead, Guys! }}

A brisk pace was set as Lucie followed Zephos down the slope toward the dark forest. She was hungry, but not enough to complain or anything, so a nice meal would do her well. She smelled Trinity beofre accually seeing her. The female stuck out more because of her bright colors.
She shifted her gaze fom Trinity to Zephos and back. Trinity wasn't so bad really, just, the latest gossip seemed to rattle everyone a bit.
"Will Trinity be includede to our hunt?" Lucie asked politly. She figured because of Zephos latest attack that more than two wolves would be sent out at a time.

Zephos looked over to Lucie. "No, I don't want any trainees out. Especially in her..." his voice trailed off. He ment to say 'in her situation', but that seemed rude. "I just don't want her out." he concluded.

A gray and white shape emerged from the trainees' den, its light brown eyes scanning the camp. The slobby-looking wolf noticed his sister nearby, with the alpha.
The young male bounded over to his sister. "Hey Lucie!" he said happily, thinking that his older sister would be happy to see him. "What ch'ya doin'?" he asked. He didn't acknowledge Zephos at all.
