(( I would imagine birds, Maybe a starling or a crow, if wolves even eat birds... Snakes? Dx))
Trinity laughed, enjoying Jaden's witty comment. She looked at the ground. It seemed miles away. She was tired, but laying down and getting back up didn't seem worth it.
"Well I just got up! I am NOT getting back down!" she complained as she straightened up her body.

||I have an idea....||
Jaden covered Trinity's mouth with her bushy yellow-orange tail. She noticed hawk perched on a stone nearby. It was looking straight ahead; it couldn't see her, and if she was quiet enough, it wouldn't hear her. She crept forward, slowly and careful. She balanced her weight perfectly, so that her steps were silent against the rocky plateau. She made no sound as she breathed, determined to make this catch. It would be hard, but she knew she could do it. She was soon about a tail-length away from the bird. The trainee lept at it, with her forepaws out in front of her. The hawk spread its wings, ready to take flight, but before it could ascend....
Jaden found herself on the ground in front of the small rock, with the hawk under her forepaws. Its wings were still spread out. She looked down, amazed at herself. The bird's wingspan was quite broad. She gave a mischevious gring. The hunter just became the hunted, she thought deviously, proud that she had caught the bird of prey. She bent her head, and bit the back of its neck. The hawk was dead, and she had a great catch to bring back to camp!

Trinity shushed, seeing the target as soon as Jaden had. It was remarkable how much Jaden could change when she needed to. When she wasn't training, she was care-free and fun, but when she was, she was attentive and wise. Trinity was jealous of her friend for her skills, not only in hunting, but in fighting, aswell.
Trinity knew, even without the pregnancy, she could probably never take down a hawk. Frame by frame, Jaden leaped, the bird extending it's wings a moment too late. It crushed down on the ground, dead under Jadens' careful paws.
Trinity was amazed at her catch. She had never eaten hawk before, though. Maybe she could share it with Jaden, if they got to eat it atall.
Trinity tried to think of a nice compliment, but those never came out right. She decided to do what she did best, poke fun at Cora.
"I'd like to see Cora's expression when she sees THAT!" She exclaimed, pawing to her friend's side in awe over the bird. They were much larger when you could really look at them. She headed toward the slant where she could go down the waterfall straight into camp, looking back to see if Jaden was following.
((We can merge this one with the 'Drowsy' one Melissa and I are in, if you'd like? Zephos is there so maybe the news can be broken and Jaden can get major brownie points for the hawk. Also, Zephos is just calling an announcement.))

Jaden laughed. "That was great, Trinity!" she said, still laughing. She stepped off of the bird, and picked it up by its wing. She dragged her catch as she followed Trinity. "Do you fink you can help me carry it? I'm too small," she said, her words distorted by the wing in her mouth. She was smaller than the average wolf of her age. Not that most Senya weren't, but Jaden was even smaller. She pricked her ears as a howl echoed up to them on the plateau. "I fink it's -Ephos," she said quietly.
||Sounds good. xD||

Trinity laughed as Jaden spat out the words. She nodded as she went to her side, and just as she had picked up the wing, Zephos had howled. She made a noise of agreement and set off with it, glad to display Jaden's prize catch.

Jaden started off just a moment after the older trainee. She kept pace with Trinity.
||Okay, I'm off to the other thread, now. ||
