Rei padded slowly back into camp, her mind still buzzing and full of thoughts. Mostly, thoughts about Rain. She hadn't been able to fully focus on anything with the image of his face still ricocheting around her head. Shaking her head forcefully to clear her thoughts, she loped silently over to the Alpha's den and slowed to a halt in front of it. Staying at a respectful distance, she called inside "Raze? There's something I want to talk to you about."
Raze had been lying inside his den, quietly enjoying his version of 'meditation.' He twitched his ears and raised his head when he heard a familiar voice call to him from the entrance to his den. Rising gracefully to his paws, he stepped out into the moonlight. He smiled a bit when he noticed Rei, and dipped his head in greeting. "Greetings, Rei. What is it you want to talk to me about?"
Rei had to figure that out herself. She blinked, remembering the giant Kavari that attacked her and Larka. That seemed like a lifetime ago, and it was by her standards. She twitched, coming back to earth and said. "Larka and I went out to go hunting, and we were attacked. It was a Maotu that attacked us and, if I'm not mistaken, it was from the Kavari tribe." She left out the part about Rain saving her life. That might not be beneficial to keeping him safe.
Raze instantly became alert at the mention of the Kavari. "Are you sure?" He asked sharply, then before she could answer, he whisked around. Motioning with his tail for her to follow, he led the way out of camp. "If anyone is still awake, we don't want them to worry." he explained, padding through the trees until he could no longer see camp. When they were a safe distance away, he turned back to her. "Tell me what happened." He ordered, all business.
Rei followed the Alpha out of camp, and then sat opposite of him once they were a safe distance away. She took a deep breath, and retold the story of what happened. She edited out the parts about Rain helping them; she didn't want to endanger his safety. She also remembered to emphasize how much Larka helped. The young trainee had preformed well, so she deserved proper credit. Once she finished, she shifted nervously, waiting for his response.
Raze narrowed his eyes as Rei finished her story. This is not good. He thought. Not good at all. he sighed, suddenly feeling tired. "Well, we have no choice but to accept that the Kavari are back, and that they want revenge." He twitched his ears, thinking. "I will call and announcement in the morning to tell everyone the news, until then, we should go back to camp." Slowly, he rose to his paws and started padding back to camp, lost in thought. Rei padded after him, feeling a little bit uncomfortable. What is going to happen next? Both of them thought as the wove their way back toward camp.
OOC - Ok, time to begin the kidnapping. Alex, if you want Elle to be kidnapped too, you can bring her in sometime. I was thinking something along the lines of the Kavari jumping them while they're away from camp, and then hauling them off (Elle included). If you have any other ideas, please tell me now. :3

Elle had finally dried from the river incident and now she looked as pristine as any other time. Entering camp, she saw Raze and Rei chatting away. She rolled her eyes. Raze could be such a meanie! Tricking her like that. She walked past them slowly, glaring at the two in overall annoyance. She gave Rei a death look, for kicks, and continued off to the side of camp where the forest was thickening, and layed. She began sobbing miserably.
'EVERYONE hates me!' She whimpered, tears flowing over her heart tattoo. She moaned in sadness and continued balling alone. She was sure to be noticable, hoping someone would pity her.
Jillian came foreward from the den, yawning. She had had a long night chatting with Aero, and his sadness had washed over her, lulling her inta a disturbed sleep. She tried to look normal, but her emotions were diminished and she felt like sobbing. Speaking of, what is that noise?
Looking around camp, Jillian noticed a small figure bye the edge of camp, crying like a pup, whining something pessimistic. Jillian rolled her eyes and continued to Raze and Rei, who seemed, aswell, with an aura of worry.
"Hello!" She said, trying to sound her normal tone.
Nyx lay in the Trainee den, deep in sleep. He had been up all night, just thinking, and now he was ready to just sleep and sleep.
(Nyx won't be taken, but he's there. xD Can Guerra take one of them? I want him to get Elle...)

ooc - Yeah, he can take Elle. D: Cinder, we need Cinderflame to tell the other Kavari what to do, plz thx. :3
Rei looked up, startled, as Jillian approached her. Did she hear anything? She wondered. "Hello." SHe said back, slightly expressionless like her pre-Rain self. She didn't want the other wolves to get suspicious about her different personality. Shiftily, she glanced behind her into the dark trees. She may just be seeming paranoid, but it felt like they were being watched.
Raze looked up, ears twitching, to see Jillian and Elle join the party. I hope they didn't hear anything. He thought wearily. Stopping next to Rei, he looked around into the dark trees. The Kavari could be out there right now. He thought, sending a chill down his spine.
Shukka and the other Kavari crouched, hidden, in the undergrowth. This was the beggining of their plan, the part where they took the Alphas hostage. Shukka bared his fangs in a savage grin of pleasure. This would be too easy. The Alpha had just walked right into a trap when he came out of the woods with the white and blue she-wolf. Shukka glanced over at Cinderflame, waiting for his signal.
Sorrelkill was almost too eager to wait any longer. His muscles were starting to ache with the effort of keeping still, and he was starting to get stiff from staying in one position too long. Just a little longer. he thought to himself, his eyes trained on the red Alpha wolf, the infamous Raze.

OoC;; Cinder is away for a week+...
Guerra was in battle mode, now. His dirty black claws were extended into the soil, his eyes burning with ambition and excitement. He stood with the group near the back, holding back his growls of anticipation. He narrowed out the one he wanted; A prissy blue one sobbing, alone. She might not be of high power, but she would certainly be fun to mess with.
He waited for any type of signal from any of the cats, his target locked into his memory.
Elle opened one eye and stopped the tears for a moment, looking at the three other wolves who still had seemingly not noticed her. Elle really was getting annoyed. Usually, she got lots of attention! But now, everyone was ignoring her. Outrageous!
She started to sob once more, this time adding in obnoxious gasps for breath and loud whines and whimpers, hoping they would notice her.
Jillian was a little worried that none of her pack mates said anything. They both seemed on edge, like they were anxious, Opening her mouth once more, to say something to try and get a conversation going, she was cut off by Elle, screaming like an idiot. Jillian knew all she wanted was attention, so she slung back her ears and rolled her eyes again, annoyed that Elle was so attention hungry.
Sighing in exasperation, Jillian just forgot about making conversation and sat with the group quietly.

OOC - ...and the Kavari deputy is severely inactive. -.- Well, maybe we could put it on hold until CInder comes back...? *is unsure*
Raze was starting to get more nervous about how quiet the woods were. Usualy there were signs of life at night, but now there was just... nothing. The silence was only broken when Elle started to sob. Raze turned to her. "Elle, please be quiet." He hissed not unkindly, his sharp eyes scanning the trees beyond her. He couldn't see much, seeing as it was pitch black. Stupid, not having nighttime vision. He thought sourly.
Rei stood tense, her ears flicking around for any sound. The fur on the back of her neck was starting to bristle, and her crimson eyes widened to try and see better in the darkness. Nose twitching to try and catch a scent - any scent - she murmured to the others "Maybe we should get back to camp." As she waited for a response, she couldn't help feeling a growing sense of concern for Rain, wherever he was. Hopefuly far away from here. SHe thought.

A soft growl rumbled in Cinderflame's throat as he gazed out of the trees towards the Kanaran camp. His dark pelt blended in perfectly with the shadows, and only the feral gleam that radiated from his eyes betrayed his presence. He shot a quick glance over towards the other Kavari, making sure that they were ready. Then his eyes locked on Raze and a intense surge of fury shot through his heart. I'm coming for you, wolf...

Raze's head suddenly jerked up, his eyes widening in suprise and horror. His ears strained forward to try and catch a sound that he swore he just heard. A low growl, barely discernable for the rest of the forest sounds. Every hair on his pelt suddenly bristled in hostile fear. His gaze zeroed in on something just out of the reach of his sight. A pair of gleaming eyes, locked on their target. Him. Raze snapped out of his reverie and stumbled back away from the fiery eyes. "Get back to camp!" He howled to his companions, his gaze locked on the stare of what he knew to be a Kavari. His lips lifted over his teeth in a horific grimace and he let loose with a gutteral snarl. He planted his feet in front of the others, bent on trying to hold off whatever attack may come. If they wanted him, he was right here.
Rei leaped up at the same time as Raze, also having heard the soft growl of something. She whirled around, her gaze sweeping the dark forest. Nothing. Suddenly, a loud howl from Raze made her leap backwards in shock. They're here. She thought, horrified. Raze snarled menacingly, and the sheer rage and fury in that one sound sent her cowering in terror. With her ears pressed agains her skull, she backed hesitantly towards camp, unwilling to leave her leader behind.

The leader's eyes narrowed as he saw the red wolf's head rise. Then his eyes met Cinderflame's, and the Kavari saw the dawning comprehension there. And the fear.
"Get back to camp!"
The howl was slightly shrill with apprehension, and Cinderflame growled happily. You're afraid of us, wolf. Good. "Go!" he snarled, waving his tail to signal the Kavari to charge. Extending his claws, the huge Maotu let out a murderous snarl. Wind whistled through his fur as he leaped into the air, heading straight for Raze.

Ooc - They were a little ways out of camp, kind of in the woods.
Raze snapped his jaws tauntingly as snarl after snarl ripped angrily from his throat. The fur on the back of his neck bristled sharply so that he looked bigger than he was. His eyes were locked onto Cinderflame's as he saw the great cat crouch, and then leap straight for him. Raze leaped forward at the same time, and collided with the big cat in mid-air. He howled blood-chillingly, his vision washed with scarlet as he snapped and slashed at his enemy. There's so many. He managed to think around his blood craze.
Shukka let out a gleeful screech, and then he threw himself towards the spotty female, Jillian. he bared his long saber fangs and unsheathed his claws dangerously. He slowed as he neared her, and swiftly crouched and started to stalk forward, like he would when he was hunting. His eyes were living flames, burning like lanters in the night. His lips lifted over his teeth in a deadly grin, and he started salivating at the thought of sinking his fangs into a wolf's fur. His eyes dared Jillian to attack him. Come on, dog.
Sorrelkill shot fowared before Cinderflame even finished his order. Caterwauling loudly, he flew towards Rei, his claws extended and ready. Throwing himself at her without any preemtive thought, he slashed and bit at any flesh he could find.
Rei gasped and yelped in suprise as a small Kavari charged her and bowled her over, it's fangs and claws slashing and biting through her fur. Her years of training took over, and she slipped from his grasp like a fish. She danced around him, lithe and agile as a gazelle, and lashed out every few seconds with a kick from her rear foot or a snap from her jaws. She grinned in satisfaction as she tasted blood.

OoC// I've decided Elle is staying. She can make it hard for them at home. Plus I love making her cry. So she was never here. xD Same with Guerra. BTW... JILLIAN AND SHUKKA!?!?! HAHAHHA! She's dead!!! xDDDD
Jillian stood quietly. The rustle in the shadows had petrified her, as most things normally did. Raze and Rei seemed ready for battle, but Jillian's eyes were locked onto blood red orbs in the shadows. She was still sitting, even as Raze leaped before Rei and her, and as much as Jillian's mind wanted to move, her body was plastered. Until he exited the threshold of the bushes. She ran, not really in any direction. The end. We're dead. She thought.
The sight of the three cats was enough to shake her. And the hugest one was after her. She was going to die that night, it was certain. The Wraith War seemed so long ago. The cats then didn't compare to the new ones. They seemed ten times worse now. Fight or flight had kicked in, an instinctively, she ran. But she heard him.
She had only gotton a few feet before she stopped and turned. She saw it, this beast with bloody eyes and claws. Menace as he was, Jillian had to go down with a fight. There was no way she could over power them, so she might as well die for her pack. She bristled and snarled at this cat, though those seemed not to ebb his coming. He was lurking toward her with a deadly grin, and for a moment, she wanted to fall on the ground and beg for mercy, though it seemed moot.
She was locked onto his eyes, he gaze unbreakable. She knew throwing the first claw was pointless, she was waited until he was close enough. If she tried anything now, he could leap at her and kill her right quick, but if he was closer, she stood a slightly better chance. She knew her plan. Go for the eyes. She wanted the burning eyes to close forever. No one deserved their glare.

Cinderflame winced at the impact as the red wolf collided with him in midair. The Kavari leader was a large cat- not as big as Shukka, for example, but still a good-sized specimen- but Raze's blow was enough to throw him off balance. He stumbled backwards, and his claws slipped and skidded across the slick leaves. Cursing, the Maotu gathered himself for another attack. This isn't the desert, fool! he snarled at himself. You've spent years longing to be back here, and now you forget how to fight among trees?! Then Raze was slashing at him again, and all thoughts- angry or otherwise- were buried beneath a roaring tide of anger and bloodlust. Snarling aloud, the Kavari lashed out at his foe with razor-clawed paws.

Raze's howl of rage was cut off as a giant paw collided with the side of his head. The blow sent him reeling backwards, and for a second, all he saw was stars. Blinking dizzily, he yelped in pain as claws sliced through the fur on the side of his neck. He snarled angrily as blood pulsed from the wound, splattering onto the dark leaves. Bunching his muscles again, he leaped back at Cinderflame. This leap was weaker than the last, because he was starting to feel the effects of blood loss.
Shukka grinned evily again, creeping a tad bit closer. He stood as still as a statue, a great black and red sculpture carved out of marble. Suddenly, he snapped and the marble broke apart with a roar. Muscles bunched powerfully as he sprinted towards her, jumping forward to try and sink his teeth into her neck. Remember; don't kill them. He had to remind himself over and over.
Sorrelkill hissed in frustration as the small she wolf danced out of his reach yet again. Yowling in frustration, he finally bucked to a standstill, glaring hatefully at Rei. She danced to a stop as well, her burgundy eyes wary. Abruptly, Sorrelkill charged her, bundling her over with his sheer body size and pinning her under his claws. His hissed proudly and waited for orders.
Rei watched warily as the young Kavari stood still, glaring at her. Then, suddenly, he was on top of her, his claws digging into her shoulders. She yelped and howled, squirming and thrashing around underneath him. She lashed out at his stomach with her back paws, but her claws weren't as sharp as his and his fur was thick. She was trapped.
