A cloud gray and sky blue femmora sat near the Fern Forest's edge. Her blue eyes sparkled watching the sun setting in the horizon. The sky was a mixture of pinks and purples which made a beautiful palette of colors. It was a gorgeous sight to see and Aiyana couldn't help but stare. Time seemed to go by rather quickly while she sat there. The sun now hid behind the trees out of sight and the moon was now rising. Aiyana continued to watch the sky as it began to turn black. She enjoyed watching day turn to night but she had no one to share it with, no friends, no mate, no realatives, no one. She had longed to have someone to talk with and be herself around. She could careless who they were or even which pack they came from. She just wanted a friend. Aiyana lifted her maw into the air, letting out a lonely melody.

Frost drifted through the forest, enjoying the feel of the soft moss beneath her weary paws. The healer hung her head tiredly, almost half-asleep. i really should be finding some more herbs, she thought tiredly. A lonely howl drifted into the air, notes hanging softly on the breeze. Awake now for the first time since noon, the grey wolf padded forwards, intrigued. Her sapphire eyes softened as she saw the grey-and-blue form of Aiyana, silhouetted against the darkening sky. Paws whispering lightly on the grass, Frost stepped forwards. "Hello, Aiyana."

Natasha lay on a boulder with her head on her paws, eyes closed as the breeze tugged at her fur. Heaving a sigh, she opened her electric blue eyes and lifted her head to stare at the sunset. So beautiful. She thought. If only he was here to share it with... THe deputy's thoughts were interrupted by a howl piercing the air. Recognizing the voice of Aiyana, Natasha rose to her paws and loped slowly towards the sound. She stepped out of the ferns and sat next to the she-wolf. "Hello." SHe murmured.

Aiyana heard the approaching pawsteps of two others wolves. So she lowered her maw ending her 'song.' She heard one step forward and recognized it as Frost, the Senya healer. She gave a slight nod and was about to reply when Natasha came and sat beside her. She glanced between the two and gave a slight smile. "H...hello." She replied softly. "I was just enjoying the sunset." She said peering down at the ground. She wasn't sure what else to say so she remained quiet. She had socialized with these two before but she didn't have much to say then. Perhaps she could strike up a nice conversation like she use to when she was younger.

Natasha dipped her head in greeting to Frost. "Yes, it is beautiful." She murmured, once again looking at the bright collage of colors in the sky. Again she felt a sharp pain in her heart when she thought of who she wanted to share it with. It can never happen. SHe told herself firmly.
ooc - Sorry, I would write more, but I have to go do my homework. >.<

Aiyana glanced over at Natasha and noticed an almost upset look on her face. "Is there something wrong, Natasha?" She asked kindly. She was unsure whether the other she-wolf would have anything to say but she felt it was nice to ask. She didn't want to invade Natasha's personal business but she didn't like seeing other wolves unhappy. She waited patiently to see what she would say.

Natasha smiled sadly at Aiyana and shot a glance towards Frost. She remembered the Healer asking the same thing, but she hadn't told her. It's treachery... she thought miserably. She looked back at Aiyana. "It's just..." She paused. "I miss someone, thats all..." She looked away, her ears twisting nervously.
ooc - Btw, in case you don't know what i'm talking about, she loves Raze, leader of the kanaran pack. Its a plotline in the story. :3

Frost dipped her head in respect as Natasha walked out of the ferns beside her. But the formality of the gesture couldn't hide the worry in the depths of her eyes as she watched the beta. She's seemed so sad lately... Something seems to be really troubling her. Aiyana seemed to be thinking along the same lines.
"Is there something wrong, Natasha?"
The grey wolf kept silent, watching with interest as she waited to hear what Natasha would say.
"It's just... I miss someone, that's all..."
The Senya healer nodded slowly, sympathetically. She knew that feeling. After her brother had died, she couldn't fathom life without him... The pale wolf's eyes narrowed a fraction. Who was Natasha missing? To Frost's knowledge, none of her family was dead.

((Yeah I know. I think I saw that on the activity check.))
Aiyana noted the sorrowful look in Natasha's orbs. She cast a worried glance at Frost before looking back at the beta. She really misses someone huh. Aiyana knew that Natasha probably wouldn't say the wolf she was missing. It could be something complicated that might make them suspicious of the deputy but she didn't want to press the matter any further. "Is there any way that we could cheer you up?"

A grin split accross Natasha's muzzle. Despite her current lonliness, she couldn't stay sad for long with her friends around. But she caught the slight narrowing of the Healer's eyes. Was she remebering their earlier conversation? She pushed that thought away. Standing up, she shook out her fur and wagged her tail a couple of times. "Hmm." She mused. "I feel like taking a run. Whaddya think?" Natasha loved to run, almost as much as she loved being the Beta of her pack.

Aiyana noticed Natasha glance at Frost and she did too. What was it she was missing between these two? Did something happen? She shook her dial and got to her paws. She stretched out her hind legs one at a time, giving them a slight shake to warm them up. Every once in a while it was nice to take a run but it wasn't one of her favorite things to do. "Yeah. What about you Frost?" She asked peering at the other she-wolf.

"Sure," Frost said, surprised by the sudden change in the conversation. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she glanced over at Natasha. She changed the subject on purpose. Why? She wagged her tail happily and paced over to stand beside Aqua, ready to run.

Natasha avoided Frost's eyes as the healer watched her. Streatching her paws out in front of her, she flexed her muscles. "I bet I can run faster than both of you!" She teased, then she took off through the woods like a bullet from a gun. She temporarily forgot about her misery as she flew past the trees, the wind flowing through her fur.

Aiyana smirked as Natasha teased 'I bet I can run faster then both of you!' Her weight shifted into her back paws and she took off after Natasha. Her body seemed to throb with adrenaline as she came up behind the deputy. She swiftly turned her dial back to look for Frost but didn't spot the other femme right away. She turned her gaze back in front of her making sure to avoid all the forest obstacles.

Zephos had just pawed in through the gorse to receive a huge mouthfull of Natashas' dust. Her paws flew up inches before him and as he was almost going to greet them, she sped off, obviously one of the swiftest in his pack. In a split second, Aiyana flew off at her heels, and Zephos was left a black shadow within two seconds.
Grinning, Zephos looked over at trusty Frost, who seemed ready to run, and possibly could over-look him in her haste.
Zephos took a contented breath and raised his tail, and with a single look at Frost, he ran off in their direction. Even though they got a head start, Zephos could make out Aiyanas' bicolored tail yards before him. Sprinting farther, his pale black fur ruffled with excitement and his 'raccoon' tail was twisting with each leap.
He gracefully dodged the forests' obstical courses and ran off behind them with stamina through the ferns, waiting for their stopping point.
