-{ Winter }-
The winter has been hard, but it's already drawing to a close. Every creature in the forest and desert is ready for the snows to melt, and the hunger of the season to ease up. Already, the snow had gotten heavy and wet, and for the moment temperatures are almost ten degrees above freezing in the woods. The rivers are swelling, and soon the forest will have to watch out for floods.

General Rules: Please read all of these before creating an account here at FoT.
Account Rules: ♦ Please don't register with an account if you are under 13. This can create problems for us.
♦ Your name can be anything, with only one restriction: Please don't make you account name nearly illegible. Eg: ~♥ T@$h@ ♥~
♦ Please don't have avatars and signatures that are offensive/vulgar/derogatory in any way. No one really appreciates it.
OOC Rules: ♦ Be polite and respectful to all members.
♦ Keep swearing to a bare minimum, in character and out of character. Remember, keep it PG-13.
♦ Don't ask for high positions. I will appoint who I deem appropriate.
♦ Keep hateful/inappropriate comments away from this site.
♦ If you're being harassed, please let one of the staff members know. We will take care of anything that comes up, and ban if necessary.
♦ No bashing or flaming or anything of the sort on this site. If you're having an argument, please stop or take it to PMs.
♦ Don't try to 'pick up' someone on this site. This isn't a dating forum, so don't treat it like one.
♦ Please, for the sake of all of our brain cells, don't 't@lk \yke d!s.' It's super annoying and hard to translate into normal English language.
IC Rules: ♦ Keep all posts to at least 30 words per post. And don't start whining at me; 30 words is hardly anything.
♦ Use correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling at all times. There is a spell check button at the bottom of each post, so please use it.
♦ We are an intermediate RP, so please use language that's better than simple. Don't use common boring words like 'walk, run, and talk.' Instead, use better words like 'pace, dash, and growl.' Quick Role-Playing tip: Once you're finished writing your post, go through and change all the passive verbs (was, is, etc.) to active verbs.
♦ No powerplaying, godmoding, or chatspeak in character. Play your own characters, not someone else's, please.
♦ No swearing in IC. Wolves and Sabers aren't likely to know any of the common swear words of English, so keep it nice.
♦ When creating a post, please make a simple title, not some complicated thing that's hard to read. Acceptable: Wandering Alone. NOT acceptable: <<<~:| {Wan/dering} A.l.o.n.e. |:~>>>
♦ When creating a post, you might also want to say the status of the thread. E.g., is it Open, Reserved, or otherwise.
♦ Keep your mind out of the gutter. Romance is fine, but don't do anything overly... wrong. Always keep it PG-13. If your going to be... disgusting... please take it to some other site.
Character Rules: ♦ This is a realistic RP, so characters can't have wings or extra appendages or the ability to control fire or anything of the sort. The only non realistic part is the color of their fur.
♦ There are no half-breed characters allowed. This especially refers to half-dog characters. Dogs haven't been domesticated yet, so there's no point in having a half-breed. The password to the Create a Bio board is wraith.
♦ You may have as many characters as you want, as long as you role play all of them and keep them updated.
♦ Any one person can have two characters of high ranking positions. The only exception is that you can't have two leaders.
Mating/Breeding/Birthing Rules: ♦ No overly graphical mating. That's disgusting, and definitely not appropriate.
♦ There must be a male and a female character in order to have offspring. You must get permission from me if you want one of you characters to be pregnant without a father.
♦ Litters can be anywhere from 1-4 Cubs/Pups. If you and another character want to have a litter, please post in the 'Pups/Cubs' board.
♦ Have your offspring at least look a little bit like their parents. We're going for realistic here.
